Gold Severum

[fish are friends....]

I have got a gold sev about 12cm... he only has the orangy marking on his anal fin. Do all gold sevs get the colouring all over their body or does it vary?

Pictures arn't great

You can see the orange on the anal fin. Its a lot brighter then in the pictures. You can kind of see the orange coming on the body aswell.

levels of colour or markings can vary in individuals of the same species any chance of a pic?

looks like a perfectly nice gold sev to me points fish are friends in the direction of the pined threads

Your severum will eventually get some red markings, but if it's not one of those linebred red severums then there wont be lots....I have a gold too that's about 6" and there's a couple of red dots on the cheeks and gill plate area, but no markings on the body, however the fins fins are starting to get a nice red colour.....I'm sure your's will turn out nice too....
