could i put one of these in with 3 angels 3 bala sharks and 2 catfish?according to my lfs it will be fine

How big is your tank?
And the estimated size of the fish would help also.
What type of catfish do you have?

they get quite large soo like the questions above what is the size of your tank and what species are your cats

The fish would get along best in a tank of at least 125G because of the balas and the catfish (unless they are a smaller species of catfish of course) but without the balas a 75g would be best

its 100g and ive got a 6x2x2 which is cycling.the catfish are spotfin synodontis(about 6")

i have one. hes usually very peaceful but goes through spurts when he attacks anything that comes near him.

You can get 1 severum but as it start growing you would have to put it in the 180 gallon (6x2x2) or transfer your bala sharks in there, since your bala sharks need a bigger tank.

they dont get THAT big there.

I know they dont get that big but he will be overstocked if he keeps the sev in the 100 gallon, thats why i said keep it in the 180 that he said is going through the fishless cycle.
Or he could keep the sev in the 100g and transfer the 3 bala sharks to his 180 since his bala sharks need atleast a 125.
