Could you id this fish, bought as gold ram, but it seems abit more colouful than other fish i`ve seen in photos. My blue ram has desserted his girlfriend and is hanging out with this fish all the time, is it poss they could pair up.

Ive never bred rams but know a bit about them. The babies are small so get a baby brine shrimp hatchery ready. After 3-4 weeks you can move them onto crushed flakes and so forth. They grow averageish-slowlyish. Keep the eggs with the parents and take out any sucker mouth fish such asd plecos

thats what i thought. iv'e got a pair as well
 
in my main tank i have 4 discus, a pair of apistogramma agassizii, a pair of a. honglsoi, a pair of a. eunotus, a pair of a, cacatuoides, a pair of blue rams, 4 ottos, 10 rummynose tetras, 12 cardinal tetras and 4 harlequin rasboras
 
one discus is about 5.5" head to tail, the other three are about 4.5" ottos 2" all the other fish are between 2.5"-3.5"
