Gold Panda Lyretail Molly To Deliver Fry A Few Days After?

If you are not sure about her condition then put her in a breeder box

yep, athlough if you keep moving her she will get stressed out so..think whats best for the fish you have right now and not any future ones.

Still no fry.

Aside from me not being sure, I posted pics that were requested. What is the communities' opinion on the string poo, squareness, and gravid spot? She was no bigger than that when she birthed the first handful of fry. I thought she would have gotten a lot bigger and was not expecting fry so soon.

Must be a scam by the local pet store industry - but I cannot wait for more fry after getting my first look at them the other day!

Sorry, I'm a bit of a novice myself so I can't offer any more. Has she been eating a lot? After giving birth they get really hungry and that might account for the stringy poo (usually a sign of over eating). I would keep an eye on her for a couple days and something will become obvious after observation, I.e. whether she's done or not.

Seems like I need to wait a few or more weeks for my 2nd run at raising those cute fry.

Stringy poo was before and after last fry delivery and she definitely grazes and overeats, continuing to suck algae growth even when the tank is being fasted.

Should she be showing by now? Her appearance of looking pregnant has subsided and she slendered up with some tank fasting.

The first fry were delivered on 8/23/13.

Now I am starting to think she isn't going to have another pregnancy. Will they always give birth more than once?

Could that stringy stuff have been yolk sacs and all of her future pregnancies were aborted all at once?

Is there a better forum or thread I should move this conversation to? Either there is no traffic here, nobody cares to help, or I am asking in the wrong place and being ignored. Not sure which it is but I would like some engaged conversation. It is like pulling teeth around here! Sorry if 72 hours is not patient enough for situations that could require quick answers... and sorry if my lack of patience is misconstrued. It is just frustrating relying on experienced fish keepers for answers and not getting any when the rest of the internet has such mixed information.

Calm down, Now do you have a pic?
Most likely she wasnt pregnant a second time, the fry are alive in the mothers stomach, so if she was far in pregnacy then it wouldnt be egg sacs it would be dead fry.
