i had 3 golds now i have 4 all female when i got the first 3 that was a fair bit of time back they were rownd the same size but 2 of them grew alot faster then the third .....the one i just got from the pet store is about the size as the small one of the first 3 i was thinking of when the fry i have get to rownd there size puting the 2 small golds in with the fry so they would be with fish arownd there size so they can be shore to get a chance at geting food with out bigger ones pushing them away so they can get bigger faster and then put them back in the big tank when there near as big as they grew :D is there any reason why this may be a bad idear ........oh and i would wait for the fry to get to there size i no if i dont the fry would be eaten

The only problem I can see is if the fry tank is too small for them and they decide to start fighting. Also, with all the fry in there, it'll get quite crowded and that could end up causing problems with aggression or with water quality.

hmmm good point i had not thort of that but i dont think that will be a problem cuz i will be getting a bigger tank soon cuz the fry are geting bigger
