Is your tank cycled? How are you testing the water? Strip or liquids?

How often are you doing water changes? And in your signature, what do you mean by "Dwarf Rainbow Peacock"? Is it a Peacock Cichlid? If so, two of these 6inch+ fish are way to big for your tank and need to be rehomed.

I am doing 20% water changes once like every three days I'm testing with API master test kit. I don't believe the tank has cycled yet. They are rainbow fish pretty cool actually not chiclids

Oh, you mean Dwarf Rainbows, like Praecox Rainbows?
Well, when you get the ammonia under control, you will need to get about 6 more of them. They are schooling fish, and need company. Your tank has the capacity. Your stocking will be
8x Dwarf Rainbows
1x Dwarf Gourami
3x Platies

You are currently doing fish-in cycling. This is inconviniant, as you will need to be doing daily water changes of 50% or more to keep the ammonia down and keep the fish alive. Refer here for further help

If your really desperate, you can try Tetra SafeStart. But 99.9% of the time, it won't work and you waste your money. But the one time I was really desperate, I used it and I guess I was the .01% because it saved my fish. But don't become dependent.

Good luck! :good:
