Hey I recently brought 5 glowlight tetras, and although supposedley peaceful two in particular (males I think, due to their more streamlined shape) seem to be causing chaos. They chase each other and the others around the tank any ideas why? I was thinking maybe they were establishing a pecking order but am afraid they could stress out the other tetras. Anyone had similar experience? Thank for your help.

btw I only have 5 glowlights in my 58l tank at the moment Am=0, Nitrite=0

Hi,

My glowlights did the same thing for a few days, in fact I was on the verge of seperating them between two tanks, but then they seemed to settle down O.K and are fine now.

Have some plants or good hiding areas in the tank? Consider dropping in a large clump of Wistera or other fast growth plant. Hiding, pecking and exploring the leaves can keep them busy and preoccupied from chasing for hours.
