I turned my 92 corner into a sweet low tech planted tank with Kribs, Half-wild angels, and Clown Loaches. It is heavily planted with narrow leaf java fern, lace fern, anubias, onions, ludwigia, an amazon sword and wisteria (I'll post a video when I get the chance). At any rate, I took most of the plants from my 55 leaving it bare. I have some rotala and ludwigia, along with apotos and crypts in the 55, with giant hairgrass along the right rear. This is high tech, with CO2 injection, and I am trying to grow in a full glosso carpet. Well, my co2 crapoped out, and I just got it replaced. The glosso is spreading, but not fast enough and not thriving. I replace the water with 80 to 90 percent of RO water, then I buffer it with equilibrium. I was wondering whether the water is too soft for the glosso...thoughts? I almost have noth tanks where I want them, but soon I'll have to move...same old story. The giant hairgrass is taking forever to come in too, by the way.
