Hello,

I have a 130 litres (40 gallon) tank with live plants, driftwood etc. I have 11 harlequin rasboras, 3 albino corys and four serpae tetras. I was thinking about adding some glass catfish. I read that they are very timid...does anyone think the serpae tetras would be too busy or aggressive for glass catfish?

I live in Thailand, so these would be the Thai or Asian glass catfish.

Thanks for your advice!

you cant really tell it by the country youre in as fish are imported from all over the world to your local lfs.

Hi,

The Thai government imposes a very high tax on imports of almost all goods and has extra restriction on bringing in live fish. Also, the glass catfish originates from Thailand, so very unlikely that they would import one from Africa...especially when they cost only one dollar per fish! Cheers

I think the serpae would definitely be too boisterous for the glass cats, unfortunately.

i wouls have to agree there, my friends serpae attacked the mother and eat all the baby fry
