Hello,
I am new to the fish world and this fish forum. I have just stocked my tank with a variety of fish. I also purchased ghost and algae shrimp. It appears that someone is eating my shrimp. Although everyone appears to get along during the day. Without listing all of the "starter fish" I have, does anyoe know which fish are predators to shrimp?
You help is appreciated.
thanks
Larry

many many many fish.... also goes down to the individual fish as well.

Are you sure that your shrimp has been eaten. Because it could just be that it has maulted its skin which is in the shape of a shrimp, and they generally lay low for a while after this

Hi larry,

It would help if you tell us what fish you have in the tank. Also, while your at it, it might be good to do a water check, to make sure that they havent just died from NH4 poisoning and then just been nibbled on after they died. Im guessing since you just stocked your tank, there might be a problem with your water stats.

Carbon dreams :)

I kept ghost shrimp for awhile. The only thing I found is tetras and guppies. Anything else might consider it a snack, including each other. LOL
