Ghost Or Amano Shrimp

I am planning to get a couple of shrimp from my tank, which is lightly planted - I hope to plant some more over the next little while -, and I was wondering what kind of shrimp I should get to do the job. I am looking for something that might nibble on the plants and the glass [do shrimp even do the latter?].

The trouble is that I have an african dwarf frog [definitely not an african clawed frog!] and I am worried about compatibility.

I was thinking, anyway, for my 10g tank with one african dwarf frog, one crown-tail betta, and one clown pleco, either 2 amano shrimp [because they get a bit larger?] or three ghost shrimp. Are those good numbers?

I know nothing about shrimp.

Shrimp are pretty cool and fun to watch. I just got myself 6 ghost shrimp. I have seen them eat the left over food and poo off the bottom and have found them in my plants munching away at dead ends. I don't know about the glass though. As for only getting 2 or 3 you can probably up that because their bio load is very small from what I have been able to find out. I would be worried about them with a Betta. I keep mine with 6 Mollies and 1 Swordtail. All fine and was thinking of getting 6 more just because the ghost shrimp are so cheap. Only $0.33 at Petsmart.

How big is your tank? How many plants?

im going to be getting 20 cherry shrimp
at the end of next week just to help keep
the tank clean and deal with the plants a bit
same as yourself ,iv niver had shrimp in my tanks
before so im looking foward to it , but tbh i dont know
that much about keeping shrimp been looking over sum post`s
but just wondering if you ir anyone else in hear had any advice ?

Personally with the Bettai'd go Amano's as there bigger
