Hello,
I started a journal a few days ago about a new tank that I have started up. After spending several hours researching the fish I wanted to put in the tank (see below), I checked my water parameters.
The results came back:
pH = 8.1
GH = 21
KH = 11
Electric yellow lab, 10-15°
Giraffe Cichlid, 12-30°
Kadango 10-20°
Lavender Mbuna 5-20°
Peacock Cichlid 10-15°
Red Top Hongi 10-20°
Red Zebra 10-15°
Sunshine Peacock 10-25°
Yellow Tail Acei 5-15°
My question is does anybody have any knowledge or advice on if it is possible to put an electric yellow lab into this water without causing it distress? MY intention is to populate the tank with 65 fish, basically a mixture of the above.
Byron was kind enough to give me some advice and then said he would prefer to leave it to more experienced rift lake aquarists for deeper answers.
Please if anyone has any information on this, i would be extremely grateful.
Richard.
