I have figured that the type of algae is diatoms. And it is regrowing. I just did test and NH3 and Nitrite are fine, yet Nitrate is around 12ish ppm (it kindof hard to tell the color). So what do I need to do? Are there any algae eaters for this kind?

what size tank you got and how long has it been running?

diatoms are common in new tanks and easily scraped off :good:

pleco's will eat it, but it depends if the tank can take it.

My tank is 8 months old and i still have a few patches

Diatoms feed on the silica released from the silicone that seals the tank and from the substrate. It will eventually clear on it's own and there really isn't much you can do in the mean time. It is not harmful to the fish, just not attractive to look at. Plecos and otos will eat it but I wouldn't buy an AE just for this.
