Hi All, I had my tank 3yrs ago and my stock has lasted really well. Although it has now dwindled down I want to restock. My question is I have a Red Tailed Shark (boy) who is rather boysterous  with my 2 Chequered Barbs. I also have 2 Zebra Danios and 2 White Mountain Cloud Fish and some Kuli loaches but they're always hiding but there should be 5. My tank is a 27 gallon. To be perfectly honest I've just busied myself keeping them alive for three years and have suffered a few losses along the way but I've now forgotton how many fish I can stock in a tank my size. I also would like some advice on what fish to introduce to my little shark  I was thinking some Neon Tetras, some Clown Loaches and maybe some Tiger Barbs and some more Zebra Danios. Any info greatly received :D

I think you may have probs with tiger barbs alongside the shark with both being boisterous nippy/aggresive fish

The clown loaches are a no no as the tank simply isnt big enough.

Thanks for the quick response, I've just looked at the clown fish and yep they'll be a wee bit big for me tank :D , I think I must have got mixed up with another fish

So a no to the Tiger Barbs. He picks on the two Chequered ones if I got some more of them would it be a case of safety in numbers for them? Any other suggestions?

Anyone else got any ideas what to put with the red tailed shark?? and has anyone tried that stuff you can stick the back picture onto, cuz mines on with blue tak and it gets all the air bubbles in between.

after quite a few problems i returned my black redtailed shark to the lfs. Really liked that fish but he claimed 75% of my 30 gal tank as his territory and harrased everything that came near

Since letting him go my tank is peaceful and im now attempting to breed bolivian rams

good luck with anything you do :good:
