hi guys
i bought my german blue ram on monday, was perfectly fine just hiding alittle as you would expect after being in a new tank.
yesterday i saw he was hiding alot and was chased by my honey gourami once or twice, but was never nipped. Today my order of plants came and when i was planting he didn't move when i moved my hand near him and had to scoop him up in my hand and move him across the tank. About 20 minutes ago i was watching the tank and couldn't see him, on further inspection he was on his side hiding in a corner. i moved him to the breeder box and is just sitting on the bottom, just noticed that he has some "flakes of skin" or scales coming off him and has gone pale on the back half of him. he's also gasping alot

temperature isnt high enough 28-32 degrees with 30 being favourable...but your current fish probably wont be able to take the higher temps.

the fish you have pictured looks like its come from a fish farm where they use antibiotics and hormones to make them hardier even though it doesnt work, the fish normally live short lives and will waste away and in most cases will be infertile too
