Well today I came home from school and thought my take had debris floating around in the gravel in this certain spot. I take a closer look, it's fry...Should I remove anyone? I have a small Columbian Spotted Pleco and a pair of rams in the tank, it's ten gallons. Mom has lost most of her color and dad's got very distinguished colors and is very alert. The pleco is just chillin under his rock...I think I should remove mom and put her isolated to gain her colors and stuff like that, or should i remove both parents and the pleco and just leave the fry in this tank? Dad is chasing mom away and if the pleco comes too close he charges somewhat.

EDIT::::
I was also wondering if I should feed at this time. Like betta's, I don't want it to trigger his hunger and have him start eating the babies.

I'm so jealous of you!! My blue rams breed every 2 weeks and the eggs always go bad. I would remove the pleco just incase, mr.pleco might wanna try some for lunch during the night. The parents will take very good care of their fry and guard them dont worry. Good luck and you should have some fish stores that would be willing to buy those off you. ;)

Well i think no matter what you do a fish wont like being caught. Instead of netting you could try chasing it with the net into jug/container so he'll be constantly in the water. Try to make his environment dark for even more comfort. Then give him/her a treat for a job well done. ;)

I know how to get him out, I just didn't want to stir up all the babies and stuff. Right now it doesn't matter anyways because I think dad got worried mom was about to try somthin slick and ate the fry...Any advise in advance that I can use in about a month from now?
