George Farmer Tpn+ Recommended Daily Dosage

Hi,

I just read a post from George Farmer (we all know who he is) on the PFK website ( [URL="http/www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=11567"]http/www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=11567[/URL] ) and he said he uses 5ml per day of TPN+ per 100 litres - is this right? I have been using 2.5ml per day for my 100 litre aquascape which is 80-90% planted. Should I double the dosage?

Maybe I will buy some standard TPN and dose 2.5ml TPN+ and 2.5ml TPN per day, what do you think?

that is what i say, although i word it as 1ml per 20l and adjust as necassary lol.

are your plants ok? If they are not showing any signs of nutrient defficiencies then you should be fine.

a few of the leaves on the echindorus look a little rusty and the hemianthus isn't spreading as quick as i would like. In general plant growth isn't a intense as you would expect from a high tech system. the scape is only about a month old though so maybe all the plants are still adjusting.
