One of geo's has been digging in the sand and dug it all out behind the logs so its the bottom of the tank , is this in their nature or is it getting ready to breeD? It normally moves sand about but never seen it go to the bottom of the tank.

I'm not 100% sure of the sex of the two i have . i have a video of the one i presume is the male as its the bigger and the best pic i could get of what i presume is the female(its normally in the plants)

Its normal behaviour for geo's, they are eartheaters and as such sift through the sand and move it around at will, they will keep going until they reach the bottom, which it has done.

Havent checked the pics to tell you if its male/female though, however if you do have a pair, they will usually spawn over a rock or as you say in a ditch they dig out. How old are they?

i've had them since early December and they were about 1inch n half so really small , not 100% sureon the age but definatly less than a year old. They've grown alot since ive had them.

I thought it was part of their normal behaviour just never seen it go down to the bottom before.
