Geo Id Please

Hi guys, I bought this cichlid off ebay in the hope it would turn out to be G. altifrons or similar. It isn't!
I haven't had chance to take a picture myself so this is the one the guy posted on ebay. It isn't very colourful and the spot on the side that many geos have is tiny. One thing I have noticed is that the dorsal fin starts further back giving it more of a "head" than in my tapajos. Any idea which species he is? Many thanks

Altifrons have spots and stripes on their tails, suri have just spots, this thread is a little clearer on id, the lack of the spot on the side makes me think he is an altifrons

The spots and stripes on the tail are not at all 100% useful. The lack of (or very tiny) lateral spot says altifrons to me.

I thought that this was an altifrons when I saw it on ebay
