Gbr Suddenly Very Sad

yes get all the mature media onto the tank with all the fish in, don't panic about it being overstocked it'll just be for a few weeks, monitor the levels daily and do some extra water changes on it to keep levels good. as minxfishy said i don't hold out too much hope for the ram but fingers crossed.

:-(

hi guys, he didn't make it--
saw him just now- while i'm doing my WC-
his stucked inside an ornament- mouth opened-

the smaller one seems okay- (hi hopes for the little fella)
i haven't test the water in the old tank yet- cause i've just
finished the WC -

i have to rush out after this cause i'm runnin out of
dechlorinator - and i have to plant the new tank-
cause the plants arrived today-

question with the cycling tank: do i have to replace the water with a new one
after planting or i'm just gonna put it in a bucket and use iy again---
i am planning to take half of the water out whilst planting to make it easier-

:X

You can put the water back in if you want or use fresh dechlorinated water, either way, top it back up to 5ppm to keep the cycle going.

Sorry the ram never made it, poor guy. Hopefully the rest of the fish will be ok.

:-(

no more GBR for me--
sadly i found the smaller one dead as well
it might be the stress shes getting everytime
i'm gonna do a water change-

and not to mention she's finding it difficult to
squeeze in a squeezed tank- i noticed her not
feeding the past few days- maybe because most of my
gouramis and tetras are getting the food first-

now i decided to sell the rekord 600
i'll upgrade to a 4ft when it's sold---
bigger project-- hope everything goes well...

:(

Sorry Efren, they are sensitive little souls though, many people have trouble keeping them.

A 4ft sounds good, many more options available to you with that :)
