Garden Hose With Python

I have a python but the hose is all kinked up. It hardly works at all anymore. Is it a problem to just use a regular garden hose with the python? I mean in regards to the health of the fish. Nothing bad is in the hose that could seep into my fish water? I haven't tried it yet, maybe I should, but the fittings look like standard hose fittings so I'm assuming that it'll work.

i think you can buy replacement hoses. actually idea i just thought of, take the head to lowes or home depot and go to the plumbing section. they have a ton of clear tubing in different sizes, i would find the one thats best for your python and get the length you feel thats best.

its ok to use a garden hose I have had the same peace of 70 foot hose for the last 10 years. I use it at least once a week.
