Fw Members, Check This Out

That certainly is quite lovely
I've been very stubborn for years and swore I'd never go marine, but the pressure....oh the pressure! My lfs is mainly salt with very little fresh and they're constantly trying to persuade me in to a nano. They have a stunning 20 gallon nano display on the desk, I was talking with the owner and saying he should just sell that cube as is, he asked me to guess how much it would be, my guesstimation was right on at $1,500.00!
cha-ching!

Wow thats amazing.. I could never do marine to expensive for me.. They look great though.

That is very nice. I cant wait to try a saltwater tank. I plan on doing it in the future when I have more space.

Yeah me either because of all the equipment and once I saw clown fish at $25 a piece and some saltwater rays I believe at $175 I think. To expensive for me I'd rather keep it cheap. B)

You must choose your corals carefully, just as you would your FW and SW fish. The only thing is there are more variables to know about with corals, eg, lighting, height in the tank, water flow, sweeper tentacles. They are living animals.

But...just so there is no confusion here, I still have my 46G BF, FW and a planted 10G FW and NEVER neglect either of those. Marine IS more expensive than FW, even a small nano tank. I can't argue with that one. But, having started out HERE with FW (TFF is my 'home'), having both really is a great thing with regards to viewpoint and the understanding of the needs and requirements of both FW fish and SW. I highly recommend it if it is within your budget. SH

Wow....lolol.....has it been that long? Thanks for that one....good post genesis. BTW, I never added a water clarifier but I DID buy a diatom filter back then. The filter was used once and has sat on the shelf ever since the 'cloudy tank syndrome' resolved. See that? Newbie moves. SH
