Furry Growth On Wood

Hello,
 
Im currently approaching the end of fairly long cycle and I noticed several lumps of what I would call fur growing on one of the pieces of wood in the tank
 

 
Is that anything to worry about? Ive never noticed it in any of my previous tanks

I think that is just the normal new driftwood algae.

It's quite normal on new wood & harmless to the fish some will even eat it, it should go away in time or you can just wipe it off
