funny neons in the morning

when i turned my 10 gal tanks light on today....i noticed that my neon tetra's didnt have a blue stripe down the side.....it was PURPLE

does any1 know why they were purple n not blue??

they're blue now.....just seems a little odd

i think its the light or when they are not fully awake because my neons are purple during the morning?

nothing to worry about the neon colors actually reflect the natural daylight so they seem to have color at day and seem grey/brown and dull at night to stop being eaten and easily seen! by eyesight and not by the electrical field they generate.

I never noticed purple on mine, but they look more green than blue alot.
Purple would be cool

I noticed this when i had neons a long time ago. I thought they looked pretty cool because mine lost the orange stripe and the blue turned into purple
