Hi, have been looking at boesmani rainbowfish or congo tetras for a while and was wondering if there was room for a small group of either. Tank is 240L, "over" filtered with both the juwel internal and an eheim ecco 2236 and currently has:

1 angelfish
8 harlequins
6 lemon tetra
4 platy
3 bolivian ram
6 panda cory
Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10.

If no room, no worries - don't want them all bashing into each other!

Many thanks

I would say that you have enough room for about 1-3 Rainbow's or 3-5 Congo's or 1 Rainbow and 3 Congo's. The Rainbow will get a little bit bigger than the Congo's and both are peaceful. I myself have 1 Boeseman Rainbow and 3 Congo Tetra in my 72gl, your tank isn't far off from mine in size (yours about 64gl) and appears to be stocked with smaller fish. You shouldn't have any aggression problems if you did get these. Cheers!!

Hi Puffdaddy! thanks for your reply. I think I'll go for the congos only so I can have the slightly bigger group and hopefully settle them in quickly. Tough though, like both!
