hey every one,
at the moment i have four lovely little anel fry which are around 1cm by 1cm and i was just wondering
when i could put them in a tank with sand/gravel and plants in it?
and when can i have a proper filter in with them not a foam one?
and would sand or gravel be better for them when i put them in to a planted tank?

Any advice would be very helpfull

:D :D :D :D :D

P.S. I can take a picture if you like :)

Well what kind of fish are they? What other fish are in the tank you want to put them in? Sand would be best i think.

hey,
they are angel fish and im planning on keeping them in there own grow up tank.

if you get a sponge filter you could swap them over now - thats the type that are powered by an air pump or if you get some filter floss /wool and tie it to the side of the filter where the vents are that works the same its just so the flow isnt too strong for them - though if the parents are looking after them I would be inclined to leave them there till they develop into recognizable fish and start to take shape. Then put them in the grow out tank to a size where you can either sell them or put them in a larger tank.
