How often should I change a fry tank of new born fry, IRS a 10 gal tank running for 5 weeks.

You change the water by at least 30% every few days. It is far more frequent than would be needed for the same fish as adults. For a tank only running 5 weeks, you may not yet be cycled and the water changes may need to be even larger and more frequent if your ammonia or nitrite levels start to rise at all.

would you say once a week is okay tho, there are 7 fry in there and two live plants.

Fry produce very little waste and not that many water changes will be needed.
I would do a 30% water change every other 3 days, frequent water changes on fry tanks also help them grow faster.

Once a week will be plenty to help the fry survive but more would work better for good growth.

Okay thank you. I also found a baby snail crawling on my real plants. I want to keep it what do I feed it and will it eat my plants?

It will eat waste and rotting food etc, dont worry about feeding it, it will get plenty of food that fish dont eat.
