what is the min size tank i could get away with for my fry (mollys or platys) to keep them in untill about 1 inch or so, ready to sell or giveaway?
I have 18 fry in a breeding net in my main tank at the mo but Im looking to buy a new tank for them asap (they have only been in there 3 days ) so I can get it cycled ready to move them in.
Also I am going away for 3 days going on the sunday night and coming back on the wednesday night, (as its my 21st) I know the fry need feeding all the time, what would you suggest to feed them and how while I am away..and i dont have anyone that could come in and feed them or look after them.

thanks :good:

I would get a 20 gallon for the fry. You need to have them in something bigger than a breeder net if you want to set up food for a couple of days for them. A largish container, at least a gallon or two, with a sponge filter. This way you could drop in a couple of spirulina tabs before you leave. These work great for weekend feeders for young fish.
