I rescued one of my 2 month old fry from the filter intake and he is swimming around but a little pale. Is he going to be ok or should I watch him?

you can watch him but if he's been damaged theres not much you can do really. he'll probs be ok though just stressed out. i would just keep him well fed and maybe turn the light off early tonight :)

Now that I look at him, I think he hurt his spine because he is having trouble swimming. D:

thats not good. its incredible what fish can pull throuh. if he's stil discoloured i suppose it could be down to lack of blood ciculation but more likely its stress or in discomfort.
he me survive thouh and just be a bit deformed, it all comes down to if you think he's suffering or not

I put him out of his misery, he couldn't swim and kept sinking to the bottom

A two month old fry wouldn't be stuck to the filter intake unless it was already sick. :/

If your fry keep getting stuck in the filter and it is not your parameters I would recommend putting a sponge or stem plants around the intake of your filter so that small fry can't get sucked in. I've heard of many people doing this in hospital tanks as well where their fish cannot swim as well as they could when healthy.
