hello all, as you may know im upgrading my nursery tank to 10g very soon, when the fry grow up i want to have something in the tank to keep it flowing and to prevent any spikes for the to be fry. are their any fish that will tolerate and NOT eat newborn fry? or am i being crazy?

normally, rule of thumb is if it fits in the mouth, it will go!

but apprently mollies are good with their own fry, dunno about other peoples babies though....

My favorite tank is my misc fry tank, I have in there at the moment mixed guppy fry (from 1wk old) platy fry (again from 1wk) & cory fry (from 3wks & older)

They share the tank with 6 peppered cories, 6 harlequin rasbora & about 30+ cherry shrimp.

The fry are really happy in there & I havent seen any getting munched, they do have a couple of big clumps of java moss in there to hide in if needed, but on the whole they are left alone.

I have never seen a cory eat a live fry. They do eat dead fry and they like meaty foods but they are not hunters at all.
