At the moment I have 12-16 2 week old betta fry that vary from 6mm to just shy of 1cm. I am feeding them BBS and Rotifers. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what other food that they might be able to eat. I do a water change every 2-3 days.

daphina would be good, or fine pellets like betta bites.

Personaly i would keep going with bBS as thats the best food you can have for any fry.

I think daphnia and pellets will still be a bit too big for 2 week old betta fry. The only other things I can really think of are microworms or vinegar eels. I think the BBS should be doing just fine though.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah most of them are not even 1 cm yet so daphina is a bit big. I guess I'll keep putting the BBS to them. Once they grow a bit more I think they will get more food, as now I have to squirt the food right on top of them most of the time. But they do eat a good bit.

I've been trying to figure out how much food I need to put in the tank. A little squirt of BBS ends up looking like a LOT of BBS in the tank, and I end up siphoning much of it out. I have about 40+ fry, but a lot of them spend most of their time hiding in the java moss in the tank. I rarely see any of them eating, but I do notice little pink bellies, so they must be doing it at some point and I just don't see it.
