Having been 'lucky' a while back in managing to aquire a female for my male Julidochromis Marlieri I now have done the same for my Neolamprologus Pulcher! :fun:

This afternoon I was shocked to see this shoal of 40+ of fry. The Neolamprologus Pulcher is hovering over them chasing other fish away so I can only guess he's dad.

And here is one of the Juli fry now a few weeks old

There appears to be 3 Juli fry surviving and I will probably keep them to adult as they were our 'first born' Further broods will be made available as and when. The new batch of Neolamprologus Pulcher fry will most likely dwindle as nature takes it's course but yes I will be looking to rehome the survivors in time.

Of course my water is good  what would be the point of keeping bad water ;)
