Frozen Food

ok stupid question on frozen food: do you dump it straight in tank from freezer and let it defrost in tank or do you let it defrost first (thank god im just jellied stuff and live stuff right now)?

It is a stupid question, but a common sort of "guess" people make.

You are suppose to let it thaw out in room temp them drain and feed.

Or

You toss a cunck of frozen food into your tank as you are running out the door.(this is what I do.)

I alway just toss in the frozen piece, it always is fine with my fish

Toss it right in. No need to defrost. Been doing now for almost 2 years without ill effect. By the time the worms begin to peel off and free up to get in the fishes mouth, they are already at tank temp. SH
