First off - Luckily my dad had enough of a generator so that the filter was powered. Yay.

Now. I have a package of Bloodworms and one of Brine Shrimp in the freezer. The power went out at around 3 or 4PM and didn't come back until until sometime between midnight and 8 AM the next morning. It got hot enough to where the ice in the freezer melted and re-froze and stuck together. I didn't have time to assess how the cubes re-froze yet.

Now, after all this, would this harm to food at all? Should I throw it away and buy new or is it safe to feed?

Not sure how it is for fish, but until you get an expert to confirm, I'd say follow same principle as for humans, if it thawed and refroze, its not safe.

Just my opinion. Perhaps someone with this experience or knowledge could fill us in.

ive read that if they have semi thawed then use the same day(bin whats left), if they ahve thawed and refrozen then bin

aka like you would do with human food
