Frozen Bloodworm

His sight is ok then. Hmmm tis a tough one. If he is better with flakes i would stick with it and if he went so mad at the mirror he can't be in too bad of a way. As for taking him back its totally up to you, however he is probably better with you than the next person who may buy him. Its hard but i'll see if i can find any thing else

I don't want to take him back, he's my baby, I just want him to be happy - I don't know what the shop would do about it anyway, is there any other frozen or live foods he can eat every day?

Rub his pellets in the blood worm so they taste of it and gradually do this less and less. He is just being a typical toddler with his food. Glad he liked the blood worms, bet he goes potty for brine shrimp too.

   typical toddler, I should be used to those by now!!!!! I spoke to the shop, they said all the show bettas have eyelids, they were quite surprised lol - also they told me to alternate, brine shrimp one day, daphnia the next, bloodworm the next then a day off then start the process again - what you think of that?

Sounds good but he will never eat his greens ... oppsss mean pellets lol with all that meaty munch. I would do it for a few days then try the rubbing of pellets on the meaty morsels now his appitite has been wetted.

I will keep trying the pellets, the problem isn't that he doesn't WANT them, but that he can't CATCH them - I will also try the tweezers but I don't want him grabbing a mouthful of metal and hurting himself. Oh the trials - I tell you something though, I'll put him right, we'll get there. I couldn't bear to give him back.

maybe soak the pellets first so they are a little swollen and softer and bigger to catch - they will also be slower at moving away from him when he trys to catch them.

I tried everything, he's either stoopid or fussy, I'm learning this the hard way lol!

Try flakes? They are bigger & maybe he'll notice them more, & they will be easier to catch? ;)
