Frontosa Question

Is it just my Fronts or are they generally snobbish when eating? The will happily take food from the surface and floating around the tank, and pick at anything that has landed on rocks, but if a bit of food has landed on the floor of the tank, they just look totally disgusted and swim off??

Now thats strange, because I couldnt get them to eat unless it was from the floor!! Saying that, they did of course have competition for it in my tank, so maybe that was why.

How weird? although I have put some of the Ellioti in with them for the time being as it has stopped the biggest one chasing the little one we were worried about, but since they have been in there the fronts just do not want to eat off the floor?

Do you have gravel or sand? They didnt like the gravel (which you now have from me) but were happy to eat from the sand, because I guess they could see it better?

Mine will only take Hakari Plecco pellets off the bottom
