hey guys i have a lovely male frontosa 5" and hes growing well i was just wondering if any of you have them, can i see some pics also i was wondering how quikly they grow and what ishould feed them to achieve this as my one dislikes cichlid pellets and only likes flakes and oscar food.

Hey mate i have 24 frontosa's in my 6x2x2 tank the are all doing fine and i been breeding them for 10 year's. They love to eat live food's such as brine shrip blood worm's garden worms and many more food's and in your pic its look's to me like you have a Female you should get your self a male and watch them breed its very intresting? hope this help's ya mate all the best

what is venting?

I have a small frontosa in a 100 gallon tank, probably 3"-4", he/she started growing a little quicker since i put him/her in the 100 gallon.

edit: oh... i do not want to do anything to stress him/her any time soon, so i guess I will try to observe
