I have a 100 gallon Frontosa tank that I would like to convert to saltwater. It's substrate is Carib Sea Aragonite. Could I remove all the freshwater, load it with live rock and fill it with cured saltwater? The two XP3 Filstar Filters would be loaded with live rock too. The tank would have a hang on Protein Skimmer.
The objective is to maintain Lionfish. I would like to leave the existing substrate as is without having to rinse it. How does this all this sound?
