I'm almost certain that I've come to the conclusion that I am allergic to frozen bloodworms, so naturally I buy a different food (freeze dried tubifex) to fulfill my fish's needs.

I tried hand feeding my Black Ghost Knife, but he was swimming around in search of bloodworms (would be my guess at least). I took the cube of tubifex and squished it against the wall. I went away for a little while. Later I saw him nibbling on it. Perhaps a half hour later I see that the tank is cloudy. Has anyone else had a problem from freeze dried t. worms causing cloudiness?

Frozen Daphnia causes my tanks to cloud, therefore I don't use it very often.....except to feed my dragon goby. The water always clears up after a short period of time though. :)
If you think you are allergic to blood worm.....why not put some in a cup,add a little tank water to thaw and then put it in the tank. No need to touch it then!! HTH.

I don't like using the freeze dried cubes of tubiflex worms because they tend to burst into a huge messy cloud when a fish tries to eat them. I only feed them to small fish because large fish tend to attack the cube and make a big mess but won't touch the stuff once it is in individual pieces.
