Well what I do for all pellets and freezedried foods (you could try with flakes, but it seems pretty impossible. Too messy.) is to
1) Get some tank water (not tap!), and put it in a seperate cup. Or anything that holds water safely, for that matter.
2) Put the food in the water, push it into the water a little, and allow to absorb water. 10 minutes is a safe time, but my bettas HATE hate hate soggy foods. So I can only do up to 1 minute.
For me, this is the best I can do. Anybody else do it differently?
