Does anyone else use freecycle?

I placed an ad a couple of days ago, saying 'wanted, 2-3 foot aquarium'. I didn't think anything would come of it because anyone with any sense would use ebay and get a bit of money for an unwanted aquarium (they seem to go for decent money on there). But I've had a reply saying did I want a 3 foot plus aquarium, free if I pick it up?!

I don't know what type it is or what comes with it yet, but I'm hoping it'll be suitable - I'll keep you posted.

Even my OH can't object to a free fish tank (his only objection to a bigger tank was money!).

I'm really excited now!

UPDATE - she has a stand and lid too! Think I might be going to collect it later on

She has let it go to someone else because I couldn't pick it up tonight

I'm so upset.

I couldn't go because I need my OH to shift it and he's on nights. Shiftwork is a curse sometimes.

i also use freecycle and its amazing what people are giving away. there was a bmw with 10 months tax and mot the other day!

but hopefully somebody else will supply something soon, just gotta keep trying.
