Free Tank!

i dunno, just suddenly had a thought...
maybe you could get like the hugest group of cardinals you can fit in and maybe 8-10 cories (i love  sterbai cories). dunno, just imagined this scintillating ball of red and blue cardinals swimming up and down the tank :fish: . lol  , sorry that was a stupid idea :fun: , but anyways...

thats what i want for my next tank loads of cardinals so they all shoal together but i doubt it will happen lol im picturing those big fish balls in the sea wher they r all together bunched up lol

yeah.. lol like a huge sardine ball :fun:
and they turn at the same time and it (should hopefully) look fantastic, but havent had a tank big enough to do that  . mabbe in the future tho! :D

exactly!! btw I just went and bought play sand from toys r us, it has no dust like the argos stuff so u dont have to spend hours cleaning it! and at £4.99 for 25kg u can't go wrong really! its a really nice colour too! has sort of a pink hint to it!

really? i havent seen the toys r us one, but thats a great deal :good:
it probly also looks better than the argos one which im starting to think is synthetic (like some sort of plastic) because its quite light and on the bag says "manufactured" by ...so and so. the argos one has this dust and when you rinse it it turns into this yellow foamy stuff...eww
the pinky tints sound nice aswell as the low price!
any piccies yet?

How lucky are you ?
Would make an awesome community tank , cardinals , chain loaches , some apistos would be awesome , OR if it's just cichlids , what about Tanganyican , choice is endless really with a tank that size would look lovely with plants and small tetras etc.... have fun with it ..... :good:

http://www.tarmac.co.uk/trupak/Playsand.aspx these are the people that make the toys r us sand, not getting my new tank till next week now :( but i have poured some into a watter bottle and shook it up, not sure how long it would take to settle but i emptied the water and refilled twice and it setles straight away so would need a quick wash but a lot less than what i have heard argos sand takes, if you buy from toys r us u need to pick up a ticket and they bring the bag out. wasted a lotof time looking for bags of sand! lol http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=313477&view=getnewpost link to a topic on here about toys r us sand, seems she got a bad bag! lol

ya, argos takes ages - yellow foam (how lovely..NOT)... . i honestly didn't know where it had been to have soo MUCH debris/foam. anyways, now its in the tank and the fishies are happy enough...lol
about the bad bag, probs they spilt some soap on it and thought "never mind... no one saw anything, right? just pop it into the bag, and nothing will happen..." lol!
