Fountain Grass

my fountain grass grew too big so i took it in to smaller pieces and planted them round my tank will
that be ok.

I do not fully understand what you did here.... Your "fountain grass".... is that outside or inside??... "planted around your tank"... Is that outside or inside???... Sorry if I'm ignorant, but be more explicit.....
