Found Some Eggs In My Tank!

Hi,

I found some eggs stuck to the glass in my 20 gallon community tank. I have had swordtail fry but never anything that came from an egg so this is a first. Not sure who laid them though. It could either be my ottos, peppered cory, neon tetras, or my gold barbs. If anyone has a good guess let me know. I would like to have some new fry in my fry tank. I have no idea how to remove the eggs, or even if i should at this point. Here are a couple of pics. If any one has any info or ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

AMAZING!!!! i had all my corys die but 2 for some odd reason! (i think you replied to my threads about it). That is crazy! should i remove them?

If you don't then the other fish will.

As far as i am aware the neons and golden barbs are egg scatterers so it wouldn't be those. Not idea on Oto's so it's a possibility. Cory usually lay a few patches of eggs in different places.

Let them harden then scrape them off with something like a credit card and place in a tank with an air stone close by to aid circulation and to prevent them from turning furry.

ok cool. How do i know when they are hardened? how long should that take? Sorry for all the questions, this is a first for me. Thanks.

Snails IMO are they surrounded in jelly?

Not long, possibly an hour or two mate. Research into the Otocinclus breeding habits mate. Possibly could be these so may be different to care for etc. Would be suprised if they survive though with fish in the tank.

I do have a snail. A very small juvi one. But just one. But they are surrounded in some kind of clear goo.

Nah, snail eggs look totally diff online. I read somewhere that they lay them above the waterline.

ewww. how the hell do i have pond snails? yeah i googled the image. def them. toilet time. Thanks people, Infestation of snails is the last thing i need. I was really about to get excited with the possibility of having baby corys, especially that most of mine have passed and all i have left are a pair. oh well. thanks. peace out!

im also thinking about putting my juvi snail inside my mbuna tank. See how long she/he/it lasts.

Have you added any new plants recently? Also snails are usually a sign of over feeding. I did think they looked a bit strange compared to my cory eggs...

what snail do you have? can't imagine any ould last a minute to be honest
