I was searching for a very light color sand that would stay light colored once wet. Also a sand that was fine without any large granules I'd tried a few brands of play sand and they all failed me.
What I did discover though at wal-marts garden center was a new brand of play sand.
It comes in a red and clear bag of 18lbs. Under the brand of Garden Basics.
It is pre-screened so you don't find much in the way of large particles in it.
It washed very quickly without the need for much rinsing(most of what I did rinse out was just the silt fine sand) When I filled the tank it was crystal clear it never even clouded the tank and it looks spectacular.
I'd take a picture but the charger for my digicam is mia.
I figured I'd let everyone know since most of USA has a wal-mart available to them and it's a very nice sand if you want a light colored sandy bottom.
