I was looking at the entries in 2016 (I believe) in an aquarium magazine. Absolutely gorgeous.

Agreed. I am happy with the hardscape in my new tank (enter in the tank of month contest) but it still looks 'staged' ie: carefully laid out.

I am struggling with plants as I plan on large fish population which require lots of open space to swim but I still want some heavily planted areas. Still a work in progress.

Hopefully I will set up another large tank this year, my personal favorite African Mbuna. This will be all rocks & sand. For me the challenge is how to create lots of caves so all the Mbunas can find a home yet make it look realistic.
