What kind of weird and wonderful foods have u fed your fish then? I think my fish are getting bored of tetra doromin (sticks that float) and flakes, so maybe a couple of pees to faten my already HUDGE sharks and clown loaches?

What else could you feed them? When i had my zebra fish in there i used to feed it garden worms, take a big worm down in 1.

Anyways talking to much again, grief. Lets see if you guys can come up with new things i can feed my fish one. Ah sweetcorn????

frozen blood worms are always good, sometimes i chop up a jumbo shrimp for my big tank. cucumber, zuccini, some people feed fruit(stay away from citrus) live brine shrimp, crickets, there are tons of stuff. it really depends on what kinds of fish you have.

Well to be honest half of my fish i dont know the names of.

Um let me think

2 very very tame parahna fish, they dont attack or go for any other fish.
2 big clown loaches (6 inches long)
2 small baby clown loaches (05 inches long)
1 shark fish?? Meh looks like a shark. (9 inches long)
2 big angel fish (5 inches)
3 big orange things, almost look like paradise fish but bright orange. (7 inches)
3 very colourful spotty things no idea what the hell they are!
3 large catfish
2 algae eaters
1 hudge orange algea eater, very nice about 10 years old now.
Also about 6 guppies. About 8 small tetras?
And others which i can be bothered to list. (about 5)

So you see if i put an earth worm in, and i know u shouldnt, they eat it within seconds, at the moment i do feed them blood worms, and they need about 2 portions, with flakes and doromin, they cost a hell of a lot to keep!

They have also taken a fancy to my oxygenated plants, (they make oxygen), so at present i need some ideas to keep the cost down.

What about nuts?? Cereals??? Sweetcorn??

I just want to make it interesting for them, it must be boring for fish doing nothing.

Most unusual thing i have fed my fish is strips of raw chicken breast to my arowana and snakeheads, in the wild they would eat the odd small water bird or mammal so i fuigure occasional treats of lean meat is probably good for them, when the arowana is bigger i will try it with small frozen mice too.

In a week i will feed my fish whole mussels, small fish (whitebait), cockles, krill, gamma shrimp, live river shrimp, live crickets, live earthworms, bloodworm (frozen), live daphnia and various pellets plus lettuce and courgette for herbivorous fish.
It pays to give your fish a as wide and varied diet as possible as they will live longer and be healthier, breeding more fequently showing brighter colours and being over all more active.

I think i might follow in your foot steps, you sound like a person who knows what they are doing. Thanks for the advice/info!
