Just a quick question about flake foods.

What do you guys think about Supa. Basically my mum picked up 50g for a £1 at one of these discount store things- she really can't resist a bargin ( even if it is something she knows nothing about) The man at my LFS swears by King British and apart from Aquarian food that is all I have used.

My only experiance of Supa food was these granule things I got at the shows with my very first fish and it wouldn't touch them. So I have never used food from the company since.

Anybody use it?

I actually have loads of King British that I bought on Ebay in bulk so I am not that worried if I have to get rid of it. I am sure it is fine it is just not something I have had much experiance with. Whereas I know with the food I am used to that the fish eat it and are active and healthy.

Hi, I got rid of the king British flakes I had, I found it quite literally turn to dust plus my fish just didn't eat it.

i only ever use aquarian flakes,catfish pellets and frozen food.I usually think its best to stick to what you know the fish like

So basically if the fish eat it then it is fine to use.

I think they need a varied diet and i use frozen,pellet and flake I also supplement with peas,sweetcorn,cucumber etc I think that is the key but this is just my opinion you understand. hope this helps

Yeah i get the varied diet. The post was about the quality of the food not using it a sol diet. My fish get a wide variety of different items many mentioned in your posts.

if they are getting a varied diet and the fish will eat it then I dont see it as a problem to use it after all its just another variation isnt it.
