Food For Livebearers

Hi

Do any of you guys feed your guppys, platies or molly's, food what has been specialy made for these types of fish like Hikari Guppy Pellets. What types of food do you lay on for them.

i feed all my livebeares tetra flakes and bloodworn as a treat every now and again

I feed mine Zucchini slice (once every 2 weeks), frozen brine shrimp (baby brine for the fry), frozen bloodworms (2 times a week), flakes, and guppy fry pellets.

I spoil them and also since I breed, I like to get a varity so they are used to whatever the next person feeds.

I feed all of my livebearers a varied diet of flakes and frozen food along with a little live food. Each tank gets different foods emphasized depending on the individual specie's needs. Some. like mollies and a few of my goodeids, get algae type flake more than others like my Brachyrhaphis. The Brachys and a few others get a focus on meaty foods. Each fish has its own dietary needs and they are not all alike. Livebearers are a diverse group of fish with very different needs from each other.

I have a new tank witch should be good to go by tuesday which is ten gal and was thinking of putting some platies and some guppys in there, which will also have 2 ADF's. Would they be alright on Hikari Micro Wafers as this is what i feed to my Corys and Keyholes in another tank.
