Foam At Top Of Water? /:

Woke up this morning to the top of my water looking like this... Can anyone tell me why?

Also, side question.... I got the FX5, and I think I need more media in it.... If I just turn the valves from the input and output to close them, and then attach a hose to the bottom part on the fx5 and drain all that, won't the filter be MOSTLY empty? Allowing me to add more media..

You are correct about the draining - turn off the filter, close both inlet and outlet. Attach a hose to the bottom drain and allow it to empty - the filter will then be mostly empty so you can add extra media.

They don't seem to be the same kind of bubbles you'd get from air.

you havent had Melafix in there lately?

I've seen foam appear like that if you use alot of stress coat at once, what chemicals have you added to your tank in the last week?
